THE HERESY COLLAR

Yeouch. The Heresy collar is a twist on the heretic's fork, a pronged torture device that forces the wearer's chin up; in this case, however, the fork is replaced with a 6-inch forged iron nail. The nail slots into an adjustable strap embedded in a 1.25" base, allowing the nail to sit farther forward or closer to the neck depending on your preference - but keep in mind, this is not supposed to be comfortable.

Please note that the point of the nail will be in direct contact with the skin just above your sternum, and while it is not sharp enough to cut or scrape the skin, it is very pointed and will definitely cause redness, pain, and potentially bruising depending on how strenuously you use it. THIS IS DESIGNED TO BE A PREDICAMENT/DISCIPLINE/TORTURE DEVICE; if you're looking for a nail collar to wear casually, check out the Calvary strap!

To measure yourself for sizing, use a tape measure to find the circumference of your neck about 2/3rds down from your chin, or wherever it is you find most comfortable to wear collars. For a looser fit (safer for high force applications), fit two fingers between the tape and your neck and take that measurement. Leave your measurement in the notes box at checkout - if you forget, I’ll reach out before I make your order.

The Heresy collar is made of premium Italian aniline cow leather, with a nickel-plated steel buckle and D ring, wrought iron nail, and nickel-plated rivets. Upgrade to brass hardware or add custom text stamping under the Upgrades tab - please note that the nail will remain grey. This piece can also be upgraded to a nickel locking buckle, with a padlock and two keys included.
